boxercise1to1Stress busting boxercise class in Brighton and Hove

Boxercise is a sport based on the exercises that boxers use to keep fit, but does not involve actually hitting anyone (or being hit). The only thing you actually punch is focus pads and it is a great way of toning your body and letting off steam at the same time. It is therefore a relatively safe activity for all sorts of people. The sport offers a way for people with little interest in contact boxing to benefit from the fitness that the sport can bring. A typical class may involve shadow boxing, skipping, hitting pads, kicking punch-bags, press-ups, shuttle-runs, squats, sit-ups etc.

The best stress buster around – boxercise is one of the most effective forms of cross-training available today. It combines aerobic and anaerobic energy systems with the systematic recruitment of both fast and slow twitch muscle fibres that gives you a diverse workout and enhances sports specific senses, including hand-eye co-ordination, balance and timing. Boxercise classes are always fun, energetic and addictive.
