<p>Boot Camp workouts are an efficient way of exercising because you work your entire body, heart and muscles, by going from one exercise to another with no rest. The workouts involve calisthenics like pushups, jumping jacks, crunches and other body weight exercises…the difference lies in the intensity.</p>
<p>In this session, you’ll learn how to strengthen your core, reduce back pain and get strong abs.  This will help to prevent injuries, improve your posture and release tension in the whole body.</p>

<p>Boxercise is a sport based on the exercises that boxers use to keep fit, but does not involve actually hitting anyone (or being hit). The only thing you actually punch is focus pads and it is a great way of toning your body and letting off steam at the same time. It is therefore a relatively safe activity for all sorts of people. The sport offers a way for people with little interest in contact boxing to benefit from the fitness that the sport can bring. A typical class may involve shadow boxing, skipping, hitting pads, kicking punch-bags, press-ups, shuttle-runs, squats, sit-ups etc.</p>
<p>The best stress buster around &#8211; boxercise is one of the most effective forms of cross-training available today. It combines aerobic and anaerobic energy systems with the systematic recruitment of both fast and slow twitch muscle fibres that gives you a diverse workout and enhances sports specific senses, including hand-eye co-ordination, balance and timing. Boxercise classes are always fun, energetic and addictive.</p>

<p>Power walking is an unparalleled aerobic conditioning activity. Its calorie burn and weight-loss potential are similar to those of a running program, but it’s much easier on your body because there’s about half the impact and wear and tear on your joints. Power walking also tones your muscles – buttocks, thighs, hips, shoulders, upper back and abs, for a sleeker body shape.</p>
<p>In this session you will also learn a stretching series to incorporate into your daily life to keep your joints mobile and your muscles free of tension.</p>

<p>An all-abilities running club modified for both beginners and advanced runners within the group. A typical session will involve a thorough warm up with stretches and then a specific type of run style each week for a varied approach to running. You will learn correct running technique to improve performance and the emphasis will be on a fun, laid back approach to fitness training outdoors.</p>
<p>As the weeks progress, you’ll notice a dramatic increase in your running endurance and overall physical well being. Many participants also experience weight loss.</p>
